Change of Heart...To Another
My poems are dying
as I read other words
I feel my emotions
as they drop to the page
A place out of time
and the chance blown
as I see you opened another door
The locks coming off
as the key you turn
leaving me alone again
against the world
It silenced the night
and left unspoken
I'll go to sleep tonight
hoping for a better dream
