Change
A lot can happen through out time,
just a few months can change your mind.
Only knowing one way since your first days.
All of a sudden the world spins out of control,
from under her very own hands.
Never expecting any of this.
Staring out the window from the 3rd floor,
Watching the sunset off in the distance,
with a thousand questions running rapid through her mind.
She knows where to look for her answers,
but how can she, if she cant even hold his hand,
Believe in his stories for what they really are.
Will her faith ever find the way?
Everything is changing so fast these days
that she is no longer who she knew in the past.
Scared to death of what life has in mind for her.
Trying so hard to hang on to the past
knowing what is said every Sunday,
really is the best way to live life
Knowing she needs to let go,
If she ever expects to stop fighting the battle from within.
Asking for a hug and grabbing a hand,
isn't who she is.
Wishing it was ,
knowing it's not,
It is just another change for her to watch.
How much more can she endear,
Before she finds the Lord!
