Change

The world
is continuously
changing
around me

The earth is
our rock
our base
our home

but even the
ever strong
the
always there

changes

The seasons change
slowly merging
blending into
each other's customs

The flowers bloom
fated to live
in an endless cycle
of life
love
death
rebirth

The trees
lose leaves
to gain them
once more

People grow, too
changing
becoming older
more mature

death happens
hurt and pain
is existent

Everything changes,
but hopefully,

Not me.
