Change

she said without change
there would be no butterflies
without change, no purpose
without change, seasons would cease
which brings the lesson
to its eventual pinnacle
it is simply this
some women are like mothers
a logic you cannot escape
heed the lesson, accept change
pray you are blessed with one
whose talents actually make vegetables
tasty and edible

Enjoyed and brought to mind how my own mother not only had a gift in the kitchen but was equally at home behind the tiller cultivating the items she would transform for nine hungry little mouths. Thanks for this pleasant memory.
