Change
The cocoon unwinds
The chrysalis suckles light
Fly sweet butterfly
Rivers flow forward
Time moves to its beginning
To be forgotten
What I remember
The sea swallowed from my eyes
Love's a lonely place
Hold my hands again
I love the rain in your hair
Memory is vain.
Words are webs of war
Winter is desolation
Making way for spring
Green turns gold in light
Rainbows are waves wrecked by dust
Stars are ancient nights.
Fly sweet butterfly
The pupa blooms to become
Flowers of the sky
