Chandelier of Stars
Chandelier of stars,
Against wooden sky,
Feeling so high,
Feeling so fine,
You are mine,
And I pine,
For your every verbal caress,
Every physical beat,
Take a seat,
I’ll teach you what it is to feel-
Heat,
In your backbone,
I need a microphone,
To tell of your appeal,
I feel,
Closer to you each day,
I pray,
To continue this journey of ours,
So far,
We’ve progressed,
Through violence and stress,
Our worst and our best,
We share,
I’d spare,
You,
Of my rage,
I feel caged,
Sometimes,
In my mind,
Since I am yours,
And you are mine,
Our souls together,
Forever?
Forever,
I feed the need,
To succeed,
With you by my side,
I’m in for a ride,
All kidding aside,
Your love lets me float,
I wrote,
This for my man,
So he’ll understand,
What I feel,
So utterly real,
I utter,
And stutter,
One day we’ll walk,
Down the aisle,
For a mile,
On white sand beach,
Confidence in the reach,
Of our hearts,
To each others.
