Chances

When you love someone your heart,
Tells you she can change.
You can feel it.
You know it.
You can sense it but are you just hoping.
So how many chances do you give her?
How many times can you,
Mend a broken and shattered heart?
My soul tells to let her go but,
My heart wants her to stay,
Yet time and time again,
I hear the betrayal, the tone in her voice,
And the looks that burn thru me.
I walk away and the tears glide down,
Her face and the last thing I hear,
Is her begging me to stay,
As I shut the door.
It's too late...no more chances.
