Four O’clock in the morning, cant sleep. The house is so quiet, not a peep. I’ll stay up and try hard to recoup. I think I will log back on to Soup. Seeing more slumber just would not come. This cheers me up, I don’t feel so glum. I have uncovered buried treasure. These poems have given me pleasure. I did not know there would be such fun. Wonderful talent from everyone. Some poem's grandeur often transcends. There are people that I call good friends. Thanking them each for all the laughter. I’m glad it resounds ever after. There is beauty and sunshine, some rain, In poems I love to read again. There are some tears I shed when I grieve. For the dearest poets when they leave. For time on the net Soup tops the chart. So many ways it has touched my heart. So please do keep the Soup pot burning. So we poets can all keep learning.

Your chosen topic for your chanso is quite excellent, VS. I can relate to experiencing frequent sleeplessness myself. My usual remedy is to leave my bed and indulge in a glass of soothing milk. Your adept use of rhyme and skillful weaving of words aligns perfectly with the poem's theme.
