Chance For Renewal
A newly ordered bucket of dreams
to dip my toes into.
So many plans and creative schemes;
my strength will see me through.
A lot of things have gone awry
but how the past has fled.
The future now is drawing nigh-
and I'm not filled with dread.
My soul's wrapped up in hope and joy,
the glory of things to be.
Determination none can destroy
and wondrous things to see.
I'm drawn to those who dance the sky
so fearless of the night.
Once there's no need to question why-
be lifted to the light.
