CHANCE ENCOUNTER
When she caught sight of him today, Walking towards her on the street, She wasn’t sure what she would say. Should she run to him and greet Him as she had in days gone by And say how nice it was to meet? Or should she look him in the eye And ask him to explain Why he had left with no goodbye? Should she tell him of her inner pain And of all the hours she’d cried? Beg him to come back again?
