Chance At Life

The first time we met was last night
Feelings flew like rockets in the sky
You were bashful and a little coy
Your cuteness I could never deny

We were all sitting around one table
Enjoying the company and our beer
More people showed up at the table
You set on my lap whispering in my ear

We were flirting with each other
Then planning out our future to be
It started out as fun but it got serious
Maneuvering life just to be with me

Throwing all caution to the wind
Together in life we took a chance
And we will ride this to the end
Our lives one as long as life grants
