Chair In My Garden

There's a chair in my garden Where I like to sit, Watching the colorful butterflies Around me, their wings flit. I can hear the bumblebees Buzzing around my flowers, Gathering nectar for their Queen They fly around for hours. I can see the children Playing on the lawn, They catch fireflies at night And would love to stay out till dawn. I smell the roses My husband planted for me, I stop to smell each one I'm surrounded by beauty. The Fairies sit next to me And take in the sights, A wonderous day gone by Gazing at the stars well into the night. Copyright Cynthia Jones Nov.9/2006 Was a title I was working with. I WISH I had a garden to sit it. LOL
