Chair In a Shadowed Room - Choka Form
The rush in the seat
Woven by someone you love
The arch of the back four slats
Empty now for years
Polished by someone now gone
The shadow that haunts the room
Could it be that one
Looking for a place to sit
And think about his lost love
If it is that one
What could be better than this
A chair in a shadowed room

Note: This is my first ever attempt at a Choka form poem – I had never heard of
one before. I hope I got it right - 5-7-7-5-7-7-5-7-7-5-7-7
