Chair

Fun, kids, years, torture. My home is in the corner. I see everything, I've been climbed on. I've been jumped from and tied up. I sit alone now.

Wow, how cool to write from the perspective of the chair! You have a unique and stunning entry, Cory. I haven't been checking my Soup mail the last couple days but just responded to yours. Sorry it's taken so long. Best wishes for success in Rick's contest! Love, Carolyn

Good luck in the contest. It's always interesting to see what people will bring to life in prose. As one who has repaired and refinished furniture, I can appreciate the feelings of wood and glue and nails and screws. :)
