Chains of Love

CHAINS OF LOVE
You've quickened all the beat of me
the pace my heart makes life to be
and set my poor heart rambling on
from dawn to dusk and dusk to dawn
less understanding all I see.

No logic is my love for you
I know not where love's going to,
just acting out this ltorrid dream
I play the role to meet your scheme
and do whate're you'd have me do.

But love's its own reward, I guess
in misery or happiness
and so I give to your command
to do whate're your thought has planned
love makes my doing nothing less.
