Chains

She can’t see the light Even though outside its bright The darkness has eaten her inside So sad, her soul’s already committed suicide Lockin’ herself in her room She silently tries to accept her doom I can’t get in to help her Instead I’m forced to watch her suffer She runs away from home I know she wants to be alone! Break me outta these chains Please come cure my pain Can’t you see we’re diein’? Just help and stop your cryin’!

I stopped by to read some more of your poetry today Tumeka. I enjoyed reading it and will be back again another time to read more. Love, Carol

Love the dark piece Tumeka. I have written quite a few, but I have never used the word suicide. Dark poems can be written so differently....:)

Wow! This is great! Welcome to the soup. This sounds a lot like some of the old stuff I wrote
