Chains

Chains surround me
Cover me and hold me down
Trying to claw my way free

Free from the pain
Free from the grief
Free from myself?

These feelings of guilt and fear
ant to remove the from my person, and place them on my heart.
Locking these feelings away forever,
Yet knowing that is not the answer

So I scratch
And I push
And I claw

Heart racing
Mind surging
Toiling with body, mind and heart
My soul screaming for relief

Finally a small link begins to break
Hope flares from deep inside
Spurring me onto new
Dimensions of strength

With one final thrust
The chain dissolves
Along with these feeling
That plague me

divine the twists of emotion. for you know the grasp the can possess. after one breaks from the chains... the question is.... does your heart ever "really" rest? the answer lies in the strength you behold. bold words! keep it up

every emotion shown and describe except for the pleasantries, as long that we recognize are hold back there is definitely hope as long that we're strong enough to release ourselves.
