Your image presented of the female warrior and the bird is almost the same as the one that flashes through my mind when I think/dream of the perfect woman/angel and soulmate to the warrior that lives in my bloodline.

My friend, -- life, love and war are the three warriors on a battlefield composed of cracked stones weeping into infinity. In this dimension there is no true victor- only action, reaction and hopeful redemption. A fav, as this gem definitely stirs this old poet's heart and mind. God bless..

Sharpen thy sword

My sword’s always sharp. It’s magic you know. Possibly bigger than yours. More than likely bigger than yours. Whether it drips with honey or venom, is reliant on the climate of my country.A sharp sword makes a clean and swift cut. All in all, it is rather painless and humane towards trolls and maurauders from the enemy camps. Over and done with in a flash. They usually never see it coming. Better that, than a blunt dull-edged sword with a lack of spring in the possessor’s step never guided by intuition or risk, only weighting the chance and that which they see in front of them...warrior ghosts are never seen, they are mostly invisible; that never makes for a tidy painless kill. Perhaps go find one of those whetstones to sharpen your dagger on. Warm regards from the land of honey and venom, Excalibur.
