Chai Tea

Out on the porch swing
my cup of chai tea brings warmth
on a bitter ides of March
I rock with the clouds
watching flurries slowly fall
with spring inside my teacup

Thanks, George!! If only I had a porch swing! I do have a courtyard with a comfy adirondack chair, but it just didn't fit.

Thanks, Jack!! I'm a tea drinker all the way. You'll never read a poem about coffee from me!

Thanks so much! Chai is my favorite hot beverage. I was wanting a cup when I wrote this last night. I hope you enjoyed yours. I'm sure the chai in India is superior to the chai lattes I get at starbucks! Blessings, Rhonda

Funny that I don't have a porch and I live in Florida!! I do, however, love chai and drink it almost everyday even in summer. Thank you for your comments!! Blessings, Rhonda
