C'Est Moi

In my childhood
they 
impressed on me
not to galumph,
lest I be typed
in stereo
as my eternal twin,

and yet, 
somehow it pleases me
to see that you 
are now
constrained to know
that I will go
galumphing off
into the nevermore.
