C'Est La Vie

Deep within this battered broken Soul,
Is a haunting feeling taking it's toll.
Demons inside are slowly stirring,
Afraid of aggressive behavior occurring.
Moods quick to change like the Seasons,
No real explanations or any reasons.
I will not let the darkness win,
I wont allow myself to give in.
I may seem hopeless and shattered now,
Even in the end I kept my sacred vow.
The pieces will somehow fit again,
I will triumph over this in the end.
My only mistake was to actually care,
Now I'm left with this blank stare.
Life goes on and so will I,
No more time to sit and cry.
So here's my advice, heed my warning,
Never trust a wolf in sheep's clothing!

You convey such strong emotions with your words.

This sounds almost as if it has been written in some mood of desperation! My advice: Trust the evidence of your eyes...and disregard what you hope might otherwise be -- For it seldom, if ever, is! My kindest regards, Jennifer. :) john P.s keep on writing; and try reading some William Butler Yeats...after all - it cannot hurt! :)
