Cessation

I never promised. That I’d write forever. Or even everyday. Maybe every Sunday. Or every Monday, if I get lazy. We all hide sometimes. I never promised to come back from that. Maybe I should have. But if I did, I’d have it written down. They would all remember something like that. When I was 21, I picked up a pen. A sparkly green pen. That was all I had. Someday, I might write a grocery list. I need to remember. I never promised. To pick up the milk. Then the accident happened. I don’t need to remember… Any promise that I made… Don’t worry about it.
