Certifying Old Age

How do you know if you’ve reached old age? There are several different signs. I’m gonna tell you just a few The ones that cross my mind. I’ll do the very best I can And hope I can recall. But don’t expect too many, I may remember none at all! Oh wait! Some just came to me Right out of the blue One is real poor vision- Near deafness is number two. When you gather with your buddies Your discussions ain’t the same No talk of sports and music Or movies you can name. It’s more results of MRI’s Or Cat Scans and the such What medicines you’re takin’ How often and how much. How many Doctors are you seeing? What do they have to say? Are you needing special treatment? Is your insurance gonna pay? With the answers togeather with aches and pains You should be able to gauge and come to one conclusion By God you've reached OLD AGE! Ralph Taylor 03/23/10
