Certainly You Have a Right to Be Wrong

By Elton Camp

Too bad some aren’t a know-it-all like me
It’d keep them from many an error free

Folks should be careful with things they say
Lest such gross ignorance their words betray

A statement that’s not supported by fact
Will by others, most rightly, be attacked

“But it’s my opinion,” they will say
As if error becomes truth in that way

Truth is how some matter actually is
A concept not needing a mental whiz

No matter how sincerely one believes a lie
In the bright light of logic, the error will die

So be careful of any position that you take
Few but me will never make a mistake
