Cereal and Milk

Cereal and milk
  goes down like silk,
Makes you smile
and feel good for a while.
Feed it to me
and I'll feed it to you.
I'll even eat it
  out of a shoe!

But first put on socks that cows would rock! When is your illustrated book for wee ones coming out? These short, crisp, rhymed lines are what catch those eager, learning ears and wouldn't it be great to prosper doing what you love! Course, I have no idea what you do, just sayin'! So cute ... CayCay (yes, I remembered your sock poem)

Thanks CayCay! Yeah, I've been thinking about writing a children's Rhyme Time book! I just don't know how to go about getting a book published but I love kids and I sometimes think I'm still a kid at heart. I like to write "simple" and easy to understand poetry. I taught elementary school for 20 yrs.
