Poet’s notes:
7/27/2018

Skywatchers around the world have witnessed the longest "blood moon" eclipse of the 21st Century.  The "totality" period, where light from the Moon was totally obscured, lasted for one hour, forty-three minutes

First photo: The moon turns red during a total lunar eclipse, behind the transmission tower on Säntis Mountain in Switzerland, Friday, July 27, 2018. Skywatchers around much of the world are looking forward to a complete lunar eclipse that will be the longest this century. (Photo: Christian Merz/Keystone via AP)

Second photo: A full moon sets over Petronas Twin Tower during a complete lunar eclipse in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Saturday, July 28, 2018. Skywatchers around much of the world are looking forward to a complete lunar eclipse that will be the longest this century.  (Photo: Yam G-Jun, AP)

This is an addition to my Six-Word Couplets that I started back on 6/9/2018.  I've been intrigued by the "six-word story," which has gained popularity, including the 2006 Six-Word Memoirs® project.  What about a six-word couplet?

Lol. . . Even my simple cover image above has six words!

Thank you, Alisha. We couldn’t see it here. It must have been exciting to witness.
