Cenote

Glimpse an empire in sweated palm burdened with pain centuries old;
Horrors and stalagmites hang in beautiful tragedy Gods have told:
Within soil surrounding bluest calm, such memories you hold.

"BLUEST CALM" IS A KEEPER. THAT CLINCHES THE ENTIRE POEM FOR ME. Well done, as usual. You have the true sensibilities of the poet. Thast is to be applauded. Thank you for your comments on Libertine. They mean a lot to me. Regards, GK.
