Cemetery
In the field flowers bloom,
Poppies grow
Among the gloom.
The mounds,
Blanketed like a bed,
A permanent place for the resting dead.
The ground,
In which they rest is dark.
Lulled to sleep by the singing larks.
Many loved ones,
Lie so still.
Conquering the cemetery hill.
