Cemented Cocoon
Cemented Cocoon
Fighting, struggling and gasping for air
trying to emerge
Fighting, struggling and gasping for air
trying to emerge from the cocoon we call life
Feeling exhausted, the cocoon ever so thick
fighting, struggling and gasping for air
trying to emerge through the concrete cocoon,
seems impossible feeling exhausted wanting my
journey through the cemeted cocoon to finally
come to an end.
Feeling ever more exhausted
As I fight, struggle and gasp for air
light begins to fill the darkness, warmth
begins to flow through the bitter cold.
Beginning to have hope and faith as I
fight, struggle wanting to feel wamrth
even more.
Fighting, struggling and gasping for air.
I lose hope and faith as the bitter cold
returns taking my last breath of air
