Celestial Stars

Dedicated to Birdy’s Celestial Dancers song…

Celestial stars, celestial stars
Where are you tonight? I’m up with them all night long without a fright
You’re beating me up, bringing me scars
Where is your shine tonight? I look around with my utmost might…

Align the planets in unison
In unison
In unison
Circle round and round and round the sun
The sun
The sun

Align the planets in unison
In unison
In unison
Circle round and round and round the sun
The sun
The sun

I’m raising up the bars tonight
Will you be mine during my flight
Towards the moonlit starlight?
I see your shine, so blue and white

Align the planets in unison
In unison
In unison
Circle round and round and round the sun
The sun
The sun

Align the planets in unison
In unison
In unison
Circle round and round and round the sun
The sun
The sun

Celestial stars, celestial stars
Where are you tonight? I’m up without them all night long with fright
You’re unfeeling like passing cars
Where is your shine tonight? I look around, but I can’t find it, you’re out of sight!

Align the planets in unison
In unison
In unison
Circle round and round and round the sun
The sun
The sun

Align the planets in unison
In unison
In unison
Circle round and round and round the sun
The sun
The sun

Celestial stars, celestial stars
You’re like a shooting star,
Going way, way, way too far
Celestial stars, are you in Mars?
You are who you are…you are…
You are like bees in their jars…
