Celestial Calm

Sing me to sleep, my love.
Lullaby away my woes today.
Summon the peace of a dove.
Keep the world safely away.

Sing me to sleep, my dear.
Your tender voice is a balm
Sung like angels in voices clear,
It grants me celestial calm.

Sing me to sleep, my queen.
Comfort me with lyrics sublime.
Tell me this life is but a dream,
And a new one is due anytime.

Sing me to sleep, my sweet.
For I am old but as a newborn.
Your voice is a precious treat,
And it heals what is age-worn.
