Celebrating Life
Can you, O Lord,
dim the sun a bit
And brighten
the moon some?
Can you mix wine
in the seas a bit
And add to the winds
fragrance some?
Can you splash colors
on the clouds a bit
And add music
to the rainfall some?
Can you sling a swing
over the rainbow a bit
And toss confetti
with the snow some?
I shall then revel
in the beauty of life a bit
And greet death
with smiles some!
