Celebrate May With a Triolet

Are you here, bright emerald May,

Fifth month of this advancing year,

On whose green sward blown blossoms lay?

Are you here, bright emerald May.

Do you feel the now warming day,

When swans from winter nests appear?

Are you here, bright emerald May,

Fifth month of this advancing year?

Thank you very much for my win, Andrea. Spring in the U.K. can be cold and wet, hence the quizzical expression. // Barry

Like Heidi we are still waiting in Alberta for things to warm up. It seemed everything was turning green and then we had a blizzard. It finally melted again and now it's cloudy and sprinkling rain but at least it isn't snow. Good job here though. May in Alberta is better much better than March. Beautifully written and great description. God Bless, JB
