Cause For Clarity

When 
written
words settle
like lightning zaps 
to marrow and bone,
communication blooms.
If metaphor plunks down with
dull thud, or hides behind a dim
screen, the seeker's intellect bangs shut.
Shoot for the goal with sharp lucidity

Cona Adams October 12, 2014 at 3:00 PM Ted Badger, of Lucidity Poetry Journal and Lucidity annual poetry retreat has led a campaign for 25 years to chuck obscurity in poetry, which is, of course, directly opposed to the mainstream literary push. I like his way of thinking.
