Cause & Effect Arriving indifferently, We suffer; Then not, Then so, Then not. There are trees And things around you. Call them things around you. A roar at dawn, each day Arrives in tears; Bringing a rain That may cleanse your air. There may be despair. You make it different, By giving it a different name. And when the heart of the lion Beats another dawn, You will become the rain That will cleanse another’s air.
