Cause and Consequence

Decisions, decisions, weighin' heavy on my mind,
Like a mannequin, frozen in time.

One brain, one mind, tryin' to make sense,
Of the math and the choices, the cause and the consequence.

Sometimes it feels like I'm tryin' to understand,
A world full of malice, with a closed off heart and hand.

But I keep on pushin', tryin' to see the light,
'Cause I know deep down, everything will be alright.

So I keep on movin', makin' my choices with care,
Hoping that the consequences, won't bring me no despair.
