Cats Should Be Exterminated By Elton Camp I am making a call for action long overdue For there is an important task we need to do They have crept into our lives with little note Now it is the time to take them by the throat Bleeding heart groups like PETA and the SPCA Mustn’t be allowed an unfavorable word to say House cats, of all pets, should have the distinction Of being the first parasites to experience extinction While a tiny, little kitten may be somewhat okay As adults, they certainly don’t remain that way There’s nothing of value or worth that cats do Yet, they expect, at all times, to be catered to Upholstery on our furniture they will fiercely tear That is, after they have littered it all with hair If the housecat we, even in a small way, displease It will scratch or bite and maybe even cause disease It’s an animal stupid enough to stay up in a tree An expect a human to climb up and set it free A cat demands to be fed only the very finest food Perhaps it condescends to eat if it is in the mood The time has passed to let them have their way Every single cat we should round up and slay That this tinges on the cruel some may protest But for all concerned, it is unquestionably best
