Notes About The Poem

grumpy cat

Cats

Dismiss you with their smug aloofness.
Hooked tails a sly pastoral crook.
Ignoring your grand commands.
They slink up, rub your leg
when it suits their mood,
with tail end flits.
clear telltales
of their
scorn.

John, congratulations on your winning placement. Cats can be aloof but also sweet as well.

Yes I can see my own kitties in this, they do scorn you, until it's dinner time! Best of wishes if for the nonet contest~
