Cathedral

If I were such a house Built to magnify The splendor of the world If I were such a house Built to dignify The mortal pride of man If I were such a house Built to nullify The spontaneous love In man's heart And leave them purpose driven Like a kite In a narrow hand Jerking its string to heaven If I were such a house I could not be Seat nor chair of mortal fools And tongues of fire Would raze my spire To tell The Holy Spirit's presence here.
