Caterpillar
Caterpillar
He thought he was clever fooling the cat;
in fact he was falling right into a trap.
Fido slurped Kitty’s food right off her plate.
He discovered its contents way too late.
Kitty was sick, terribly pale,
out of her mind chasing her tail.
Kitty’s dish held a poisoned pill
for she was sadly terminally ill.
Fido was stupid, he ate and ate
gulping and gulping at a ravenous rate.
Fido’s tongue dangled; his eyes started to tear.
He stiffened quite quickly, fell on his rear.
Kitty’s mush had all the strength to kill a rat.
Eat from your own dish; don’t eye others’ crap
