a descriptive quadruple Haiku to show the damage and pain of nature's wrath unleashing her power. History always repeats in all things I fear. Good one Carolyn. We are blessed we don't get hit harder than we do.,, esp here in Fl.

What a terrible event that happened when Katrina hit, it was horrible! I love the history lesson you give us and the emotional lesson that you have given us in that last Haiku, and really all throughout the rest of the Haiku! You have done really well all through the entire poem! Great Work Carolyn!!
