The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Catcher In the Rye

the shadow doesn't entirely make sense
watching you change from mr superstar to a fly
the bait and switch of oldest tricks
four winds to ride on
heartbroken i will try
to catch you in the rye

Building blocks to talk about
intuition of sickness
the obsession with dirt
becoming the one disguised

take you inside
we eventually might have to see eye to eye
the cold heart of mankinds good intentions

fisher twins
exposing your syndicate
in the gutter

should i stay
and leave you blind
should i go
nevermind

ressurrected lie of what you did
brick by brick
slander the poet

A fine decending collection, with a strong twist. Really enjoyed the flow and the ending really seemed to grab the subject.
