Catch the Moon

I'll catch the moon and I'll see you there
wherever I am, to wherever you are
I'll see the same stars
the same stars as you
although you are on the other side of the world

I'll have the same thoughts
the same thoughts as you
of a distant past in an hourglass
and the sands that fall
were on a beach, under the stars
where we walked

if you take the time, we can catch the moon
gather stars inside of our heart
wherever I am, to wherever you are
I'll see the same stars
the same stars as you
although you are on the other side of the world
