Catalyst of Choosing
Choosing's upgrade in my mind
to hone my soul, selection's find
a worthwhile goal, confirms not bind
selfhood's control is not confined!
The Ore that hardens, now can flow
choosing ~ does all life reaming stow,
to put away, for later day
nor exercise concern's extol!
Oh choosing, how my fright appears
can I in clumsy trait revere
a word so jeopardized by fear,
or stop the times considerate steer!
Oh choosing ~ how I love thy wear
you took my fault ~ I tried risk's tier
those certainty's now, just souvenir
it was the climb ~ I stand and cheer!
The choosing ~ is not fate's compare
but love of freedom's engineer,
I choose my faith ~ above impair
and carry through with God's whole care!
The choosing to be His repair
do foster mercy . . . truth so share!
