Cat Walk

Applause
that’s all I heard
in gliding econometric
it felt so fulfilling
the attention, distraction
the positive feeling

It was so….
all eyes a hither
come bathe in this fashionable lather
this bubble pop
this grit your teeth in the taste of soap
this formidable wanton
and drag your guttural to the screaming swamp

So this as it is, as you choose, a chaos
to see or not, to be or not
and flatter your lives ineptitude
create or not
creation of naught
the empty blather so full to a toilet-s-pew

So what if reason gives
and ever the plaintiff is ever plaintiff
to simpering weak I wish I could
I really should
if I only could
and capitulate
the empty sponge of hate you did proliferate

Applause
that’s all I learned
in gliding econometric..metric..metric..econometric
it felt so empty of full and filling…...full
the attention, distraction
the positive feeling so greedily, captivating
you’ll loose yourself in it all…..ull...all….. in it ull

It was so….all
all eyes a hither
come bathe in this fashionable lather
this bubble pop
this grit your teeth in the taste of soap
this formidable wanton
and drag your guttural to the screaming swamp
of a vacuum

A story more described by a slaves age of unwitting servitude
and stamped its boot in your mind
but not in your throat

But still, such ignominy is something you always chose
