Cat Crawl

My cat Shark has a flat butt crawl
that I call the cat crawl.
When he flattens his back haunch
down and starts crawling I
know he's got a bird or a mole
in his sights

He only does the cat crawl
when he's in full-blown
hunt mode.

In seconds I see him make
a through the air pounce that
would give a professional
long jumper a run for his
money.

I keep saying I'm going to
put a bell on him, but I do
not because it's truly his
favorite sport, and the
only exercise he gets.

He would weigh three
hundred pounds without
this little dab of exercise.
