Cat

CAT

Slowly spreading a luxury of black fur
Over my knees for me to admire,
Licking paw and washing face
To draw attention to her whiskers,
She fell asleep purring.

Hi Ilene You're very kind with your remarks about my scribbles.......in these two written today ( at work) I was trying to get as accurately as possible the way the textures( hair.....cat-fur) revealed themselves to me.............I'm not sure if it's called IMAGISM but that is what I was trying to do........ with my best wishes( and a Happy New year to you ) Syd
