Cat

Life isn't complicated at all,
For you!
After jumping on the thread ends of my hem,
You stick out your pink tongue,
Yawn, stretch and sleep,
Then later when i don't,
Feel like playing with you,
You make your tail move,
Pretend it's something else,
And jump after it,
Round and round and round

Cat,
You only have to whine,
Or paw at my lap,
So that i give you,
Whatever you want
Meat, fish,
Or just a pat,

Me,
Sometimes i whine and cry,
And grit my teeth too,
But lo!
The sun rises and sets as usual,
Yet no manna falls from the heavens!

Cat,
You probably don't know this but,
Being human is so, so hard!

Cats have it better. We have to dig out their litter. Fun poem.
