Cast the First Stone

Every day people talk about other people,
talking trash about them behind their backs
However, when it comes down to the face to face,
most of the time they won't repeat what they have said

All of a sudden, it's " hey, how ya doing or,
long time no see, or hows the family,
when not the very day or hour before
they were putting the bad mouth on that person

Some of these people say they are Christians, Yet,
they don't practice that very way of life, that
they say they believe in, yet say Amen
they say Grace before meals, and thank God

Yet, not five minutes later, if that sometimes,
they will start talking trash about someone
never anything nice, only some sin that person committed
during this wind blowing, they will even take the Lords name in vain

To these people I would like to say,
God is the only TRUE Judge, so judge not
Love thy neighbor as thyself, so Shut It!
and " Let he without sin, Cast the First Stone!"

very nice and i pray and ask God to help me live what i preach. We aren't perfect, but no excuse to continue doing wrong. We have to ask for a fresh dose of grace daily to cope in this life. no one exempt. Very nice words, and thanks for your comments

Good wite, Richard and it is all true. The best seremon I ever heard about that was from a pastor of ours that died a while ago. Shortest sermon I ever heard ,but effective as follows..."this is for you people who like to gossip about every body negatively.Shut Your Big Mouths!" end of sermon. :)...............-After that I tried to shut my big mouth!thank you fro your welcome comments ,my friend-Robert-soup mail
