Cascading Emotions

Wading through cascading emotions, I feel within me warring oceans, Losing you, love, could cause such turmoil, If I had known, your death I'd have foiled, Lost that war with time and destiny, Now I trudge on in hushed mutiny.

And now I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end The way it all would go Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain But I'd have had to miss the dance. These are lyrics to a song called, "the dance". This is what your poem reminded me of Joanna.
